Mobile Notary Pricing

California notarial acts are regulated by state law and are currently limited to a maximum fee of $15 per notarized signature. Mobile service includes travel to your location for added convenience.

Travel fees generally range from $40 to $85 within my primary service area and are based on distance, travel time, and appointment location. Appointments outside my normal service area may require additional travel fees. You’ll always receive a clear quote before your appointment is confirmed.

Trust & Estate Signings

Many estate planning signings involve multiple documents and signatures. Rather than charging per notarized signature alone, I offer convenient flat-rate pricing for most trust and estate appointments.

Apostille Services

Whether you’re sending documents overseas for family, business, education, immigration, or legal matters, I provide complete apostille services from document review through Secretary of State processing, and return delivery.

Witness Services

Need a witness for your signing? Bennett Mobile Notary can provide qualified witnesses for many types of notarizations and legal documents when requested in advance.

Witness services are commonly requested for estate planning appointments, and I’m happy to coordinate witnesses when needed to help ensure your signing goes smoothly.

Witness availability depends on scheduling and location. Witness availability cannot be guaranteed for same-day appointments. Whenever possible, please let me know at the time you book your appointment if witnesses are needed.

Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. Business and personal checks are accepted only from approved clients or established business accounts.

Do you provide quotes before scheduling?

Yes. Every appointment begins with a clear, upfront quote based on the requested service, travel distance, number of signers, and any additional requirements. You’ll always know the cost before your appointment is confirmed.

Are travel fees included?

No. California law establishes the maximum fee a notary may charge for each notarized signature. Mobile travel fees are separate and vary based on travel distance, appointment location, and travel time.

Travel fees are included when I quote flat rates for services such as estate signings, loan signings, detention facility signers and other special requests.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. I accept cash, major credit and debit cards, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, and CashApp. A 3% processing fee applies to credit and debit card transactions.

Do you offer flat-rate pricing?

Yes. Many specialty services, including trust signings, apostille services, loan signings, and white-glove document services, are offered at flat-rate pricing. Contact me for a personalized quote.

How is my quote calculated?

Quotes are based on the type of service requested, travel distance, appointment location, number of signers, number of documents, and any additional services requested. You’ll always receive a clear quote before your appointment is confirmed.

Do I need to know what type of notarization I need?

No. If you’re unsure whether your document requires an acknowledgment, jurat, or another notarial act, I’ll explain the notarial options available. While I can’t choose the notarial act for you or provide legal advice, I’ll help guide you through the notarization process so you know what to expect.

Can I text or email my documents before the appointment?

Yes you may. While I cannot provide any guidance on how to complete the documents, or whether or not you should sign, I can check the documents to determine whether witnesses are required, whether they contain the notarial certificates required for California. I will also ensure that any required notarial sections are complete and that any required initials or signatures are not overlooked.
