Have your unsigned documents ready along with valid government-issued identification for each signer. If your documents require witnesses, please have them available at the time of your appointment. If you’re unable to provide witnesses, let us know in advance—we may be able to arrange qualified witnesses for an additional fee.

How long does an estate signing appointment last?

Most trust and estate signings take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the numger of signers and the size of the document package.

Can you come to a hospital or nursing facility?

Absolutely! We regularly travel to hospitals, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and private residences. When an Advance Health Care Directive is being signed in a skilled nursing facility, California law generally requires the facility’s Patient Advocate or Ombudsman to complete the required witness certification. Please coordinate with the facility before your appointment to ensure the Ombudsman is available.

We’ve completed many signings in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities and understand the additional requirements that may apply to certain estate planning documents.

Can multiple family members sign during the same appointment?

Yes. We can accommodate multiple signers during the same appointment, provided each signer has valid identification and is willing and able to sign their own documents.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Yes! Same-day, evening, and weekend appointments are available throughout Los Angeles County, subject to availability.

Do all signers need to be present at the same time?

Not always. If your documents allow separate signings, appointments can often be scheduled at different times or locations. Your attorney or document preparer can advise whether separate signings are permitted for your documents.

What identification is accepted?

California law requires each signer to present acceptable, unexpired government-issued identification. If you’re unsure whether your ID qualifies, please contact us before your appointment.

Do all estate planning documents require notarization?

No. Not every estate planning document requires notarization. Your attorney, online estate planning service, or document preparer will advise which documents require notarization under applicable law.
